Following our discussion on
the 28th September regarding the
Hong Kong Companies Ordinance, Marker
has sent me copies of minutes by the
Senior Official Receiver in Companies
Winding-Up setting out in some
sen by hum tions/
detail the objections to the
abandonment of the principle of equality
in commation
of distribution of assets wicinis
with
inherent the proposed Section 275A
of the Amending Ordinance. I now
enclose a revised draft of a despatch
to the Governor of Hong Kong, together
with a new paragraph for the memorandum
to be enclosed therein. I shall be
glad to hear whether you concur in
their terms.
